In the late 1920s the Kaiserhof was one of Cologne’s most popular variety theatres, staging a wide range of shows with both national and international stars. The repertoire included song, dance, political cabaret and Carnival revues, as well as more locally focused performances. One of the most popular entertainers was Hans Tobar.
