Disch-House
A Modern Cultural and Business Centre
Brückenstraße 19, 50667 Köln
Named after its predecessor, Hotel Disch, Disch-House has stood on this site since 1930, when it contained, among other things, the offices of various Jewish companies and lawyers. Until 1933 Jews and non-Jews worked here side by side; but after the National Socialists took power, expropriation and work bans gradually forced the Jewish occupants to leave. From 1933 to 1938 Disch-House was the seat of the Jewish Cultural Confederation of the Rhine and Ruhr.
