The Cologne Millennium Exhibition
Judged by its numbers of visitors, the Millennium Exhibition of 1925 was Cologne’s most successful exhibition. Elisabeth Moses afterwards commented on it in the following terms:

What marked [the exhibition] was above all its demonstration of Jewish culture on the Rhine not only as serving Jewish faith and religious practice, but also as co-founder and vehicle of Rhineland – and hence, too, of German – culture.
